Booming Games — provider review
Booming Games is a video slot developer whose journey began nearly a decade ago with a small group of close friends united by a dream to become one of the top providers in iGaming. Today that group has grown into an international team of 200+ specialists from more than 40 countries, and the studio's portfolio is known for a steady weekly stream of new releases.
One of the provider's most notable features is its partnership with football legend Ronaldinho Gaúcho — a rare case of an iGaming studio collaborating with an athlete of this calibre.
The Ronaldinho partnership
On 20 November 2023, Booming Games officially announced its partnership with Ronaldinho Gaúcho — winner of the FIFA World Player of the Year, UEFA Best Footballer of the Year, and FIFPro World Player of the Year titles. Beyond his football career, Ronaldinho is a successful businessman, music producer, and media influencer with an audience of more than 170 million people across various platforms.
Since the partnership began, the studio has released a series of branded games: Ronaldinho Spins (June 2024) and Ronaldinho Scores: Shoot & Win (November 2024). The lineup will continue expanding with Ronaldinho's Streetball Bonanza, scheduled for release on 11 June 2026 — ahead of the upcoming World Cup.
Licenses
Booming Games (Malta) Limited is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission under account number 57254. Booming Games (Malta) Ltd. is also licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority to provide gaming services type 1 under a B2B Critical Gaming Supply License (license number MGA/B2B/459/2018, issued on 10 September 2018).
Beyond MGA and UKGC, the provider is certified and present in Sweden (Spelinspektionen), Ontario (AGCO), Romania (ONJN), Greece (Hellenic Gaming Commission), Denmark, and other jurisdictions, with games tested by accredited labs eCOGRA and Quinel.
Team and culture
Booming Games' international team numbers more than 200 employees from 40+ countries and is built around four core values: taking initiative, owning outcomes, open collaboration, and moving decisively on decisions. The company emphasises that it aims to chart its own path rather than follow industry trends.
Technology and operator tools
Booming Games runs its own Remote Gaming Server (RGS) platform, giving the studio full control over the quality, speed, and personalisation of game delivery. The provider offers fast wallet API integration, support for most languages and currencies, plus signature and fully customisable games tailored to an operator's brand.
💡 Promotional tools
Tournaments, leaderboards, and personalised bonuses help operators boost player engagement and increase average stake sizes.
Booming Games slots
Three flagship slots show off the range of the studio's approach — from jungle gorillas to alpine wolf-themed Hold and Win mechanics and a candy-coated fantasy world. Notably, Way of the Wolf and Tasty Bonanza both cap out at the same 10,000x ceiling — apparently something of a standard maximum for the studio's top-tier releases:
| Slot | Max win | Key features |
|---|---|---|
| Wild Silverback | 5,000x | Collect, multipliers up to x5, free spins |
| Way of the Wolf: Hold and Win Extreme 10,000 | 10,000x | Bonus wheel, Hold and Win Extreme, 4-tier jackpot |
| Tasty Bonanza 10,000 | 10,000x | Cascading reels, Candy Jar, random multipliers up to x100 |
Wild Silverback — a jungle-themed slot about a lead gorilla, where Wilds on reels 1 and 2 activate the Collect feature, and landing two Wilds together triggers bonus Free Spins. Multipliers in the bonus feature can reach x5, with a max win of up to 5,000x the stake.
Way of the Wolf: Hold and Win Extreme 10,000 — a wolf-themed slot with a Wolf Bonus wheel that grants access to extra multipliers and the Hold and Win Extreme mode. The game is built around a four-tier jackpot — Mini, Major, and Grand up to 10,000x — while the Hold and Win Extreme grid is packed with multiplier coins of varying value.
Tasty Bonanza 10,000 — a candy-themed slot with cascading reels, where symbols forming groups of 8 or more pay out and clear from the grid. Landing the Candy Jar can trigger Free Spins at any moment, and 4 or more scatters award 10 free spins with random multipliers from x2 to x100.
