Evolution Gaming is a Swedish company founded in 2006 that has become the biggest name in live casino. Since 2020, it has operated under the Evolution brand, and the shares of its parent company, Evolution AB, trade on Nasdaq Stockholm.

In July 2026, Evolution paid £4.75m following a review by the UK Gambling Commission. The regulator found that the company's games had been available to British players on six unlicensed websites run by two operator partners, and that its checks on partners and money laundering risks had been insufficient. The licence was not suspended: the regulator noted the company's swift response and the absence of new concerns in follow-up testing.

Evolution group brands

Under its own brand, Evolution releases live roulette, blackjack, baccarat and other table games with real dealers, as well as game shows. Another group brand is the technology brand DigiWheel, a patented digital HD wheel for game shows. Livespins is also part of the group. And since 2025, Evolution has been releasing games based on Hasbro brands, primarily MONOPOLY, in both live casino and slots.

Evolution games

The best-known games under the Evolution brand are game shows and live roulettes. Crazy Time is a show with a big money wheel that lands on winning numbers and four bonus games, while an extra slot reel before each round can add a multiplier. Lightning Roulette is a European roulette in which lightning strikes random numbers before each spin and assigns them multipliers.

MONOPOLY Live combines a money wheel with a bonus round in which Mr. Monopoly walks around a 3D board of the famous board game. And Ice Fishing is a new fishing-themed game show that the company itself calls one of its most successful launches in recent years.
