Novomatic
Novomatic — provider review
Players know Book of Ra, Sizzling Hot and Lucky Lady’s Charm from slot machine halls — they were created by Austria's NOVOMATIC. The company was founded by Johann Graf in 1980 in Gumpoldskirchen near Vienna, and today it is a large gaming technology group with subsidiaries in around 50 countries.
NOVOMATIC primarily makes slot machines and casino systems and runs its own gaming venues. The online versions of its games are released by the group's digital division, Greentube.

History
Over more than four decades, NOVOMATIC has grown from an Austrian slot machine maker into a group that runs thousands of venues itself, while its classics live on at online casinos. This is our observation, not a statement from the company.

Machines, jackpots and own venues
NOVOMATIC's core business is equipment for land-based casinos: slot machine cabinets, games for them, gaming platforms, jackpot solutions and casino management systems. Its current cabinet lines include DIAMOND X, PANTHERA and V.I.P. X, and the company also makes electronic table games such as roulette.
The group also runs around 2,000 gaming venues and casinos itself and rents out gaming and video lottery terminals. At G2E 2026, NOVOMATIC showcased products for North American markets, including the VISION LINK, IMPERA PROLINK 2 and RISING TREASURES II lines.
NOVOMATIC online
The online versions of NOVOMATIC games are released by Greentube, the group's digital division. That is why at many casinos the NOVOMATIC classics are listed as Greentube games. Its catalogue includes Book of Ra deluxe, Sizzling Hot deluxe, Lucky Lady’s Charm deluxe, Dolphin’s Pearl deluxe and Reel King, as well as the new Piggy Prizes, Cash Connection and Starlight Jackpots series.
The link works the other way too: the Athena Goddess of War slot, for example, moved from online to land-based venues. You can read more about the online catalogue in our Greentube review.
NOVOMATIC slots
All three slots are classics with 5 reels and 10 lines, and they differ mainly in theme and volatility (given on the company's scale).
| Slot | Reels and lines | Volatility | Theme |
|---|---|---|---|
| Book of Ra deluxe | 5 reels, 10 lines | 5 | Treasures of Egyptian temples |
| Lucky Lady’s Charm deluxe | 5 reels, 10 lines | 4 | A lucky fairy and her charms |
| Dolphin’s Pearl deluxe | 5 reels, 10 lines | 4 | A sea adventure with dolphins |
Book of Ra deluxe is probably NOVOMATIC's best-known game: a hunt for treasure in ancient Egyptian temples. As in the bonus buy version, the Book of Ra symbol substitutes for other symbols and triggers free games, during which one symbol expands to cover the whole reel. It has the highest volatility in this selection.
Lucky Lady’s Charm deluxe is the deluxe version of the famous classic slot, where a lucky fairy and her charms lead the way to wins.
Dolphin’s Pearl deluxe is a sea adventure with dolphins and another legendary NOVOMATIC classic. The game is now also part of the Cash Connection jackpot series.
Other NOVOMATIC games include Sizzling Hot deluxe, Reel King, Plenty on Twenty, Flaming Devil and Cash Connection — Golden Sizzling Hot.
