Pateplay was founded in Sofia in 2022, and in just a few years its games have reached more than 1,600 operators. Today the Bulgarian company's portfolio includes more than 110 slots, with two new releases every month.

The core of the business is online slots with a certified random number generator. In live casino, the company offers automatic roulettes and Emerald Roulette with a live dealer. Pateplay showcased blackjack at an expo in 2026, but its launch with operators has not yet been announced.

For land-based casinos, the company makes Phenom cabinets, and in 2026 it introduced VIP PHENOM with an 85-inch screen and a built-in audio system. A separate area is engagement tools: the shared Pate Link jackpot, leaderboards and the Instant Bonus, Spin Till Win and Spinfinity Rush features.

Licences and markets

In August 2026, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board approved an iGaming manufacturer licence for Pate Play USA LLC, valid until 2031. For Malta, the company's website features a Recognition Notice, which is the Maltese regulator's recognition of an authorisation from another jurisdiction rather than a direct MGA licence.

According to the company, it already operates in 11 European countries, in Armenia and Georgia, in four Latin American countries and in three African countries. Planned markets include Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Ontario, Peru and others. Pennsylvania is still listed on the website among markets in progress, even though the licence there has already been approved.
